Beaten favourite first four starts before blinkers did the trick when making all in five-runner 7f Warwick maiden last month; worth a crack at further but this much more competitive now handicapping.

Much improved upped to 1m2f on AW debut on return when off the mark in good style at Kempton; has 10lb higher mark to defy back on turf.

Landed odds in 1m Lingfield AW maiden on return in March but beaten fair and square off this mark in handicaps at Kempton and Chepstow since; needs improvement in first-time blinkers and extra furlong not certain to suit.

Started this campaign as he ended the last one with a Yarmouth success but higher mark done for him since and likely to have to settle for another supporting role.

Good pedigree and improved with every race, worn down by subsequent Musidora second Romantic Settings on handicap bow at Musselburgh (pair well clear) before going one better at Ascot seven days later when always in command; likely has plenty more to offer.

Built on debut fourth in 7f Leicester soft-ground maiden last October when going one better in modest maiden auction over 1m on Lingfield Polytrack following month; should have more to offer now handicapping.

Ran respectably in Meydan handicaps early in year and best to ignore his return to British soil (stiff task in Listed company upped to 1m2f, went without usual blinkers); only 1lb higher than when winning major contest at Ascot last summer but headgear is again missing.

Missed 2011 and has finished last in a couple of Listed races since returning to action, but hasn't looked a complete lost cause and interesting to see how he fares back at Goodwood, as he was 2-2 here as a juvenile including a Vintage Stakes win; workable mark if back to that level.

Useful filly who has spent much of her career in Listed/Group company; indeed, she was a Listed winner at Warwick last June and possibly didn't take to AW on reappearance; whether she can defy this mark is another matter and ideally needs the ground to ease.

Five-time winner for Richard Fahey, including twice (in cheekpieces/blinkers) last term; mid-division off this mark final outing, subsequently sold for 48,000gns; not sure what to expect with headgear removed on comeback but market support would have to be taken seriously, given his new yard.

Made a successful return to turf in similar contest over C&D (on good ground) early this month, stepping up on previous efforts in this sphere and reproducing something like his useful AW form; still has low mileage on grass so could be more improvement in him as a turf performer; greatly respected despite 5lb rise.

Bagged a major contest at Ascot in July 2011 but subsequent record on turf is far from consistent and both wins since have been on AW, most recently two starts back; well held in Victoria Cup back on grass latest; not certain to match or improve on his fifth in this last term.

Form figures at Goodwood read 33133, most recently his third to the race-fit George Guru on reappearance (same mark today); course record also includes two solid performances last August (won at the big meeting then close third in valuable event) and looks set for another big run.

In good form on AW in France towards end of 2012 and penultimate start (in Chantilly conditions race) saw him finally add to his 2yo debut win; however, strictly held by George Guru and The Confessor on C&D reappearance form, so main hope is that he'll come on sufficiently for the run.

Not easy to predict and hasn't won since the summer of 2011 but was a 33-1 second (off 2lb higher) in this race last term; each-way shout if coming back to that sort of form with reappearance under his belt.

Triple French winner who opened his British account at Kempton in December and returned with a decent fourth at same track last month; however, finished behind a few of today's rivals in C&D contest back on turf since and needs to step up on that effort.

Ordinary form in 2yo maidens for Sir Michael Stoute; has improved for step up to 1m2f in handicaps this term, shaping nicely here on reappearance then scoring easily at Salisbury (good to soft) last Thursday; from a good female line (dam/grandam were Group winners for this owner, latter French Oaks) and should be more to come.

Another filly from a smart female line (dam/grandam were Group winners); steady progress in maidens, runner-up to subsequent Musidora third Woodland Aria at Wolverhampton on final occasion; improved further when staying-on fourth in the Cheshire Oaks at Chester (1m3f, good to firm) since; heading in the right direction and warrants respect; holds Ribblesdale entry.

Left sole 2yo effort well behind when winning 1m4f maiden at Southwell on reappearance; disappointing in a couple of handicaps since, last of five returned to turf latest; difficult to fancy upped significantly in class.

Reached the first three in a couple of maidens last month but struggled in the Cheshire Oaks since (behind Elik, beat one rival) and on that evidence she won't be good enough.

Irish raider who ended her 2yo campaign with a success in AW nursery at Dundalk; not disgraced in three runs this season, fourth in Navan Listed upped to 1m2f latest (would have been closer with a clearer passage); that form puts her in the mix.

Form in 2yo maidens included a second to subsequent Musidora winner Liber Nauticus at this track (went one better at Chepstow next time); further improvement in a couple of decent 3yo handicaps upped to 1m2f this season and that form also looks pretty solid; respectable chance on RPRs in what looks a substandard renewal.

Has achieved a podium finish in four starts on AW, third in 1m3f handicap at Kempton latest; still not fully exposed but going to need a fair chunk of improvement if she's to open her account at this level on turf debut.

No more than ordinary form in three starts (on soft/heavy) at two but looks a different filly this year, winning Wolverhampton handicap then second in good-ground Lingfield classified upped to 1m2f; should have more to offer and has Listed/Group winners on distaff side; from same family as Contradict (they share the same great-grandam).

Juvenile form included a Doncaster maiden win; creditable efforts in a couple of 1m handicaps this term, fifth of 12 at Newmarket latest; this is tougher but visual impression and pedigree suggest she could really blossom now upped to middle distances.

Down the field in Listed company on final 2yo start (won Salisbury maiden the time before) but that was possibly too much too soon and this 240,000gns purchase looks interesting back at this level, having shaped well in two runs this term, meeting plenty of trouble both times; looked unlucky in 1m handicap here latest when also leaving impression step up to 1m2f may suit.

Narrowly made a successful debut in 1m maiden at Haydock last month; third in the betting but finished last of six in 1m2f Listed contest at Newbury last Friday despite having been able to dictate; admittedly wasn't disgraced on the figures and may still do better but would liked to have seen her finish closer.

Sole win came in 2011; made an encouraging stable/seasonal debut; failed to build on that effort next time but Brian Ellison usually does well with recruits so difficult to write off yet; competitive mark on the pick of his form.

Overall strike-rate 2-42 and no win since April 2011; couple of respectable midfield efforts this term and continues to slide down the weights but hard to have great faith in him winning.

Showed her form only once in three Flat outings last term (hurdles winner later in year); respectable fourth of seven at Nottingham on comeback but will need to build on that effort in this more competitive affair.

Wolverhampton win was followed by a couple of good seconds but tad disappointing last time and has more on his plate back on grass, with mark 8lb higher than when last seen in a Flat turf race (back in 2009).

Spoiled chance with slow start on reappearance (first AW start since 2010), though did shape with some promise and remains well treated if breaking more cleanly and building on that effort; usual tongue-tie removed; won this in 2011 (no wins since that season though).

Completed 1m4f AW hat-trick during the winter; has remained in form since, including in two starts back on turf, but stamina is taken on trust (this is half a mile further than he's ever gone before).

Ran poorly returned to firmish surface when last seen nine months ago (may be ideally suited by good or softer) but looks interesting on comeback, having made a winning reappearance in the last two seasons, the 2012 one off just 2lb lower.

Won a division of this race last term and is only 1lb higher if we take into account her rider's claim; stiff task in Listed company on only subsequent start in 2012; encouraging reappearance (fourth at Doncaster) sets her up nicely for another tilt at this contest.

Looked the type to possibly make into a better 4yo but tad disappointing in two runs this term (blinkered latest); however, elements of pedigree suggest he's worth sending beyond 1m4f and wouldn't give up on him just yet; change of headgear.

Stratford hurdles win was followed by a respectable fourth (just behind Silver Samba) at Ascot returned to the level, only her third run under this code since 2011 when her form included a fourth in the Goodwood Stakes; possibilities off what remains a handy mark.

Only visit to Goodwood resulted in his sole win, namely a jump jockeys' race (soft ground) last autumn; having first turf start since when looking difficult last time (ran in snatches, behind Astromagick) but change of headgear and return to this track may have positive effect.

Couple of good placed efforts this term and latest Ascot third needs marking up a bit (met trouble; just 1lb higher today); that was only her second attempt at 2m, the other being her C&D success last August (only visit to this track); still unexposed at this trip and likely has more progress in her.

Both wins at Bath and was one place behind Silver Samba at same track (1m5f; hood fitted) on comeback; return to 2m is a plus but, unlike several of his rivals, ability to handle Goodwood is taken on trust (first visit here).

Took advantage of lower AW mark to make successful return at Kempton; has run well on this track but weighted up to hilt on turf and well held at Brighton on Tuesday.

Slightly lower than when runner-up three times last year but usually needs a run to hit form (well beaten over C&D on return last year).

On sidelines last year but returned with shock win at Lingfield in January; not in same form at Kempton three months later (reluctant to load, pulled hard) and needs to bounce back returned to turf.

Not disgraced off lower turf mark latest but that at Bath where dual course winner and doubt this track suits as well; losing run has really mounted up too.

Placed all three visits here in 2011 and can race off lowest mark since 2009, but well below best last four starts and have to be reservations at present.

Free-going sort who won at Wolverhampton last month; ran well for a long way at Bath last time off this 4lb higher mark but has to prove this track suits (not run on downhill track, all wins round a bend).

Seemed to run well in Wolverhampton seller latest but that only a four-runner affair and not a lot of substance to much of his form (mainly in small fields) and well held both handicap starts; never run on downhill track and plenty to prove.

Career-low mark and has gone close over C&D, but that on soft as are both his wins and well held since scoring at Salisbury last June; cheekpieces given another go (doubt headgear makes much difference)

Best off strong pace and did well in blinkers last season when he won over 5f at Chepstow and Bath; excuses on return and seems to stay this far so needs considering with talented apprentice booked.

Triple C&D winner (all in May) but well beaten all starts in 2012 (one here) and questions to answer for new trainer after 302 days off.

Successful turf debut at Folkestone almost 12 months ago but just a couple of respectable efforts since; reappearance was one of them but was comprehensively beaten only previous start here and not easy to predict.

Done all her winning on Polytrack and added another at Lingfield in March; however, pick of turf form of similar merit and of interest off career-low 3lb lower mark back on turf (ran well here off much higher two years ago).

Tuesday's remote third in Brighton maiden amounts to very little and well out of handicap here.
