Place a sports bet by choosing your required selection in the relevant market. This can be chosen in three ways:

1. Using the left navigation bar. Simply click the sport you require and this will open open all events related to that sport. Continue to navigate through the events until you reach your required market containing your selection.
2. Using the search facility above the left navigation bar. Simply type in the name of the selection you are looking for and click the search button. This will automatically search all our events in an instant and return all selections meeting your criteria, allowing you to click through directly to that event and make your selection from there.
3. Clicking on any promotional literature/images throughout the site such as banners or text links. These will take you straight through to the relevant market to make your selection.

Once you have found the market and selection you require, simply click the price to automatically add the associated selection to the bet slip.

Once all your required selections have been added to the bet slip, its time to place your bet. To do this simply enter the unit stake into the box next to the bet type you require and the total stake for the bet(s) and potential returns will be calculated.

Where available, there will also be an 'each way' option offered. To choose this simply click the 'E/W' check box next to the relevant bet type and your stake will adjust accordingly.

When you are happy with your bet selections and stake, just hit the 'confirm bet' button at the bottom of the bet slip and your bet will be placed. Once this process has been completed a receipt will replace the bet slip confirming the details of the bet. For your reference you can make a note of the bet receipt number or simply select print receipt.

Simply follow the process detailed when placing a single to find the events and markets that you wish to put in a multi leg bet. Once you have added all the bets to the slip, the bottom section of the slip will show the available multiple bets on offer i.e. double, treble, 4fold accumulator  etc. As before simply insert your desired stake and click confirm bet.

totesport.com offers multiple ways to find to any given racecard: -

1. The most popularly backed horses in either the best 3 races of the day or the next 3 races of the day are generally shown on our homepage. Customers can bet on these horses directly from this page. Alternatively, customers can choose the “view all runners ” option to view all runners in that race or the “all today’s races” button to see a display from which you can select and view any of today’s races (or results).
2. By selecting 'Horse Racing' from the left navigation bar and selecting the required meeting from the options available. Alternatively you can choose 'Horse Racing' and then choose to view the next three races, early prices etc.
3. By selecting the race you require from the “Today’s Racing & Results” section normally displayed on both the homepage and the Horse Racing page

Placing a bet with totesport.com couldn’t be easier and our racecards will always offer Starting Price for every runner on a given day, plus an early price where available.

All you need to do is choose between Fixed Odds and Starting Price by clicking on the actual Price (or SP) to carry this direct to the bet slip.

Once added to the bet slip, your choice of Fixed odds or Starting Price will be displayed. Please note however you will have another chance to choose between Fixed Odds/SP. If an early/board price (i.e. Fixed Odds) is available, this can be chosen from the drop down box next to the name of your selection in the bet slip before a bet is placed.

To place a forecast or tricast bet you must be in the relevant section of the racecard associated with forecast/tricast. In order to do this, simply find the race/racecard you require and then choose the ‘forecast/tricast’ option at the top of the racecard.

Once in the forecast/tricast screen choose the type of bet you require (i.e. straight, banker, combination) from the bottom of the racecard. Then use the relevant column (forecast/tricast) and check boxes to make your selections.

When happy with your choices, select the “Add to betslip” button at the bottom of the racecard, and your forecast will be added to the bet slip, allowing you to choose your unit stake and place your bet as normal.

totesport.com offers a full range of totepool bets. To place a totepool bet you must first select the race in which you would like to bet. This can be done in 4 ways:

1. By selecting ‘totepool’ from the left navigation bar and select the required meeting and/or totepool bet from the options available.
2. You can choose the “view race in full” option to view all runners in a race within the “next 3 races” display or select the “all today’s races” button to view other racecards.
3. By selecting 'Horse Racing' from the left navigation bar and selecting the required meeting from the options available.
4. By selecting the race you require from the “Today’s Racing & Results” section normally displayed on both the homepage and the Horse Racing page
5. By clicking on any promotional literature/images throughout the site such as banners or text links. These will normally take you straight through to the relevant racecard to make your selection.

There are two main ways of placing your totepool bets:

1. By selecting Horse Racing from the left hand navigation column and then seleceting the race you wish to bet on.

Once you have found the race, you will see columns for totewin and toteplace bets (where available). All you need to do is click on the selection you require and this will then be added to your bet slip.

Please note, the dividends displayed against each horse are only a guide, relecting funds currently in each pool. These figures may vary significantly from the final dividend.

If you wish to place other totepool bets on a race (for example, toteexacta, toteswinger or totetrifecta) just select the relevant buttons above each racecard to take you to those bets.

2. By selecting totepool from the left hand navigation column which will take you to the totepool only betting environment.

From here you can choose the race you wish to bet on and, once in the relevant totepool racecard its time to make your selections and choose your stake. To do this click the boxes in the columns next to the horse name(s)/number(s) and bet type you require. On totepool racecards you will see the win guide/ place guide displayed, please note this price cannot be taken and is for guidance only. You will also see the current starting price displayed (when available) this is only for comparison purposes only. Once you are happy with your selection(s) simply enter your unit stake into the box at the bottom of the totepool racecard and your total stake will automatically be calculated based upon your unit stake and number of combinations (lines).  

When happy with your selections, unit stake & total stake, just press the ‘bet now’ button at the bottom right of the totepool racecard. Once this process has been completed a receipt will replace the bet slip confirming the details of the bet.
